We all have to do it, big or small, charity or association, local authority or local group.  You can't get away from it unless you have a rich patron who invests in your group, nobody likes doing it and it isn't easy but there are people out there who can help, sign post and direct you to the potential funds. but, not write the applications for you. 

Who can help?

Community Action Northumberland is the rural community council for Northumberland and they have a Community Development Officer [Christine Nicholls] who works in Berwick, part of whose job is to offer help and advice to community groups seeking funding.  Christine can be contacted by e.mail at the following  address christinenicholls@ca-north.org.uk or by telephoning 01289 304141

What grant funds are available?

The County Council regeneration team produce a regular summary of what funding is available and rather than keep it to ourselves we want to share so that as many people as possible get to see it.
